Cookie note
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser so it can remember a fact on a later visit. Terminal Map Hub uses as few as we can. This page lists them. The privacy note explains how we treat personal data more generally.
What we use
Essential cookies (or local storage keys) remember whether you accepted or rejected the banner. They are needed so the banner does not return on every page load after you have chosen. Analytics storage is set only if you press Accept. Rejecting does not block reading, forms, or navigation.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| terminalmaphub_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner can stay hidden. Essential. | Until you clear site data | Terminal Map Hub (this site) |
| terminalmaphub_analytics | A simple visit flag used only if you accept, so we can count return readers. Not a shopper-tracking pixel and not related to till timings we do on a store floor. | Until you clear site data or press Reject on a later visit after clearing | Terminal Map Hub (this site) |
Third-party cookies
Pages load type from Google Fonts. Google may set cookies when those files are requested, according to Google’s own policies. We do not use advertising networks. Unsplash hosts some photographs; their servers may log the request when an image loads. That is not a cookie we set.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also delete site data for terminal-maphub.digital in your browser settings, or block cookies for this domain. If you block all cookies, the banner may appear again because the browser cannot remember the last choice. The contact form still works.
If you disable analytics
You will still read rates, journal notes, and service pages. We will simply not set the analytics flag. Floor visits we run in shops do not depend on this website’s cookies.
