Terms of engagement

These terms apply when you ask Terminal Map Hub to review a shop floor, a payment terminal, or an in-app cart. By sending a request, confirming a date, or paying a deposit, you accept them. If a signed letter of engagement says otherwise, that letter wins on the points it covers.

What you are buying

You are buying time on a floor or at a desk, and a written sequence of what we observed. You are not buying software, a licence, or a right to republish our notes as your own audit product. Findings are advice based on the hours we were present. They are not a guarantee of shorter queues or higher completed carts after you change a cradle, a prompt, or a till roster.

Your store, your staff, your shoppers

You confirm you have authority to invite us onto the premises and, where relevant, into the live app. You tell cashiers a visitor will be present. You do not ask us to film shoppers’ faces or to collect identity documents. If mall management refuses entry, the visit is treated as postponed, not as a completed review.

Intellectual property

Photographs of your equipment, marked sequences, and briefing sheets are licensed to you for internal use in the stores and apps we reviewed. Terminal Map Hub keeps copyright in the method, templates, and any journal writing that does not name you. You may not sell our notes to another retailer or present them as a general industry study.

Confidentiality

We do not name your chain in the public journal unless you ask in writing. Tender mix, till counts, and app credentials stay in our files for the retention period in the privacy note, then are deleted.

Liability

We are not liable for lost sales, staff disputes, or equipment damage that is not caused by our negligence. Our total liability for a booking is limited to the fee you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, to the extent Malaysian law does not allow that limit.

Fees and dates

Quotes are in ringgit and exclude reimbursed test purchases and parking unless stated. A date is held once a deposit or a written confirmation is received, as set out on the refund page. We may refuse or stop a visit if the floor is unsafe or if we are asked to stand in a till well against our practice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Selangor have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
