Floor briefing after observation
A sit-down with the people who actually open the till, translating what we saw into a short practice they can try on the next shift.
Who it is for
Stores that have already had a Terminal Map Hub visit and want the cashiers, not only head office, to hear the findings.
What you leave with
A forty-minute briefing on the shop’s own floor or in the back room, using photographs of that counter, not a generic till diagram.
Scope
One briefing for up to twelve people, tied to a review we completed within the previous six weeks.
Included
- Printed stills of the actual PIN-pad and cart screens from the visit
- Three practices the shift can try without new equipment
- Time for cashiers to disagree and correct our reading of a busy hour
Not included
- A first-time audit (book a full checkout review or till walkthrough first)
- Scripted sales training or product pitching
How the visit runs
- Pick a shift change or a quiet midweek hour.
- We walk the same counter we already observed.
- Cashiers leave with a half-page of practices for that store only.
Preparation
A roster of who will attend. A till that can be talked about without serving a queue, if possible.
Limits we keep
We brief in English. A Bahasa Malaysia briefing is available with a week’s notice. We will not brief a team on another chain’s visit.
Next step
Name the shift and the room or counter you can spare. Write to info@terminal-maphub.digital or use the request form.
