Flagship visit

Full checkout review

One visit that follows a purchase from the basket, through the till or PIN pad, and through the in-app cart until the receipt or confirmation appears.

Who it is for

Retail managers in Selangor who run a physical till and a shopping app, and who keep hearing that ‘payment is slow’ without a clear picture of where the minutes go.

What you leave with

A written map of the live checkout: each pause at the counter, each extra tap in the app, and a short list of changes the floor can try before the next busy weekend.

Scope

One store plus the current live build of the retail app. We watch ordinary shoppers and, where you allow it, complete a small set of paid test purchases you reimburse on the day.

Included

  • Two hours on the floor during a trading window you choose
  • A screen-by-screen walk of cart, address, tender, and confirmation in the app
  • Notes on PIN-pad placement, tap height, and receipt printer lag
  • A debrief the same week with the person who owns the till roster

Not included

  • Rewriting app screens or hiring a development studio
  • Mystery shopping a competitor’s store without a separate brief
  • Overnight trading or warehouse dispatch

How the visit runs

  1. You send opening hours, a floor plan sketch, and a test login for the app.
  2. We agree a quiet corner to stand in so we do not block the queue.
  3. On the day we time real checkouts, then run the in-app path with a modest basket.
  4. You receive a marked sequence and a one-hour conversation, not a slide deck of slogans.

Preparation

Tell cashiers a visitor will be timing tills. Set aside a petty-cash float for two small test baskets. If the app uses DuitNow QR, Touch ’n Go, or card, have those tenders live on the test account.

Limits we keep

We do not film faces of shoppers. We do not stand in the till well. If a store is too small for a second body at the counter, we observe from the queue instead.

Next step

Write to us with the store address, trading hours, and whether the app already takes payment. Write to info@terminal-maphub.digital or use the request form.
